Más de 2.000 residentes y más de 1.000 empleados de residencias geriátricas de la ciudad fueron inoculados desde que comenzó la campaña de vacunación contra el Covid-19, destacaron desde la Cámara Marplatense de Residencias de Larga Estadía (CAMARLE).
La entidad, en conjunto con la Unidad de Gestión Logística N° 11 de PAMI, llevan a cabo la coordinación para la aplicación de la vacuna contra el SARS-CoV2, en Residencias para Adultos Mayores.
“Si bien sabemos que queda camino por recorrer, nos encontramos muy satisfechos con el trabajo realizado en conjunto con el PAMI”, destacó Humberto De Gennaro, presidente de la Cámara.
Mar del Plata es una de las ciudades con mayor concentración de Residencias de Larga Estadía, por lo que resulta imperante maximizar esfuerzos para lograr alcanzar objetivos a corto y mediano plazo, más aun frente a un contexto pandémico.
“Finalizando esta semana, hemos podido coordinar la inoculación de la vacuna en más de 80 hogares, quienes albergan a más de dos mil residentes y más de mil empleados” mencionó De Gennaro.
“Tenemos como objetivo continuar con este flujo y dinámica de la aplicación de la vacuna, sabiendo que el mismo depende de la cantidad de dosis que ingresen en esta región”.
CAMARLE, dispuso una comisión específica de vacunación, para ordenar en conjunto con el ente autárquico el desarrollo de la labor. En las próximas semanas, se prevé seguir con esta campaña, abarcando la totalidad de hogares, ubicados en el partido de General Pueyrredon.
