La exgobernadora bonaerense María Eugenia Vidal se lanzará mañana sábado por la mañana como primera candidata a diputada nacional de Juntos por el Cambio en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, en un acto que contará con la presencia de Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, su jefe político y de Patricia Bullrich, la presienta de PRO, quien declinó su postulación para favorecer la unidad en ese distrito.
Vidal terminó de definir su candidatura en las últimas emanas, luego de un largo proceso de análisis que tuvo un hito importante en un viaje que hizo a Estados Unidos y que la alejó del contexto político argentina y le permitió tener un punto de vista más abarcativo sobre su futuro político, que comienza con esta decisión, explicaron a DIB fuentes del entorno de la exgobernadora.
Aunque aún no está cerrada la opción, el nombre que sonaba más fuerte como número dos de la lista de Vidal es el del economista Martín Tetaz, autor de varios libros de divulgación –el último se llama “Nada será igual, la economía del futuro”- y columnista del programa radial de Jorge Lanata en Radio Mitre y del canal de noticias del Grupo Clarín. “No está totalmente confirmado, pero casi”, dijo a este medio un colaborador de Vidal.
Tetaz es radical y pertenece al sector interno de Lousteau.
La exgobernadora consumó así el salto de vuelta al distrito donde comenzó su carrera política y del que llegó a ser vicejefa de Gobierno, durante el mandato de Mauricio Macri como jefe de Gobierno. Es un movimiento audaz, que ejecuta en la primera elección luego de gobernar la provincia y repetir en varias oportunidades que nunca dejaría atrás el distrito. Ese cambio se condensó cuando quitó la expresión “orgullosamente bonaerense” de su perfil en las redes.
Ahora, Vidal quedará en carrera para competir por la sucesión de Larreta en 2023 y, eventualmente y de modo más lejano, por la presidencia, el mismo objetivo que Rodríguez Larreta.
El acto de mañana será a las 10 en un local cerrado y en principio sin prensa, con Larreta, Bullrich y Vidal como oradores. La exgobernadora explicará “por qué decidió ser candidata”, dijo a DIB uno de sus voceros.
