En el caso de ser presionado ante una eventual emergencia, se genera una señal que da aviso a los recursos policiales y activa las cámaras en el COM. Quienes deseen sumarse a esta iniciativa pueden solicitar el botón de alerta de forma gratuita haciendo clic en www.mardelplata.gob.ar/empresasyemprendedores.
El dueño de una verdulería de la zona, que instaló el dispositivo, celebró “la posibilidad de insertarnos a este sistema de botones antipánicos. Todos los comerciantes lo ven con buen criterio para sumar más seguridad. También estamos agradecidos por la rapidez con la que atendieron nuestro pedido y la solución. Evidentemente, esta es otra forma de estar más seguros”.
Desde la Secretaría de Seguridad informaron que a los mismos comerciantes que suman esta herramienta, y cuenten con cámaras de seguridad, pueden adherirlas al monitoreo que se hace desde el COM, en el marco del Programa de Expansión del Sistema Municipal de Videovigilancia.
