El hombre detenido en un vacunatorio de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, que era buscado desde hace 15 años por el crimen de un policía y desde 2018 por intentar matar a machetazos a un vecino en Merlo, se negó a declarar y seguirá preso, informaron fuentes judiciales.
Los voceros informaron a Télam que tras la indagatoria llevada a cabo en los tribunales de Morón por la tentativa de homicidio, el imputado Javier Salaverry Gabarain será remitido a la ciudad de Mar del Plata para que comparezca en la causa por el homicidio de un policía bonaerense en 2003, por el que estuvo 15 años prófugo y ya está prescripta.
La indagatoria de Salaverry Gabarain (40) estuvo a cargo de los fiscales Marisa Monti y Claudio Oviedo, de la UFI 5 de Morón, quienes dispusieron que tras la diligencia quede alojado en una dependencia policial.
El prófugo fue detenido este domingo en el vacunatorio que funciona en el Museo MAR de Mar del Plata, durante un operativo que llevaron a cabo conjuntamente efectivos policiales de las DDI de esa ciudad balnearia y de Morón.
Para atraparlo, los policías simularon ser parte del personal sanitario, enfermeros y trapitos de la zona para seguir de cerca los movimientos del hombre, que había sido citado para aplicarse la vacuna contra el coronavirus.
Inmediatamente fue trasladado a Morón para responder por el intento de homicidio de un vecino atacado a machetazos en la cabeza frente a una casa ubicada en la calle Azara 1365 de Parque San Martín en octubre de 2018.
Un día antes del ataque, el ahora detenido había amenazado al vecino porque lo había denunciado por hacer ruidos molestos, dijeron las fuentes.
Fue la mujer de la víctima quien alertó a la fiscalía que el agresor estaba en Mar del Plata.
En tanto, el mismo acusado estaba prófugo desde octubre de 2003 en una causa en la que se le imputa haber asesinado de tres balazos durante un asalto al policía de la DDI de Mar del Plata Cristian Agusti (28).
“Dios hizo justicia. Muchos años esperando esto. Él no sabía que estaba prófugo de la justicia de Morón. Por fin, después de tanto tiempo, él está detenido y mi hijo descansa en paz”, dijo a Télam Graciela Panebianco, madre del policía.
Por su parte, el fiscal Oviedo dijo a esta agencia que está satisfecho con la labor realizada: “Nos sentimos bien porque la justicia trabaja mucho para lograr esto, esclarecer dos causas con un mismo individuo acusado”…
