Un total de 16.757 nuevos casos de Covid-19 y otras 249 muertes fueron reportados en todo el país en las últimas 24 horas, según informó el Ministerio de Salud de la Nación.
Con los nuevos datos, el total de víctimas fatales desde el inicio de la pandemia es ahora de 104.352. Del total de muertes reportadas hoy, 154 son hombres y 95 son mujeres.
La cantidad de contagios, en tanto, se elevó a 4.875.927, de los cuales 4.519.922 personas ya se recuperaron, mientras que 251.653 aún están cursando la enfermedad.
En las Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) de todo el país al día de hoy hay 4.160 pacientes, lo que representa un porcentaje del 56,5% en la ocupación de camas a nivel nacional para todas las patologías, tanto en el sector público y privado, y del 54,6 % en el Ambito Metropolitano de Buenos Aires (AMBA).
En las últimas 24 horas fueron realizados 112.772 testeos, con una positividad del 14,85%, por lo que ya se llevaron a cabo 19.045.876 pruebas diagnósticas para esta enfermedad.
La provincia de Buenos Aires reportó 4.590 nuevos casos, y así su acumulado desde el inicio de la pandemia trepó a 1.960.645.
Córdoba fue el segundo distrito en cuanto a casos reportados en las últimas 24 horas: 2.637 (totaliza hasta el momento 460.752). En tercer lugar aparece la provincia de Santa Fe, con 1.568 nuevos contagios (442.742).
La Ciudad de Buenos Aires reportó 896 casos (488.754); Catamarca, 268 (41.330); Chaco, 487 (89.630); Chubut, 230 (75.393); Corrientes, 657 (78.859); Entre Ríos, 588 (126.323); Formosa, 246 (55.081); Jujuy, 213 (42.753); La Pampa, 413 (60.343); La Rioja, 214 (27.316); Mendoza, 582 (152.279); Misiones, 188 (30.096); Neuquén, 250 (106.622); Río Negro, 269 (90.883); Salta, 417 (73.824); San Juan, 448 (59.529); San Luis, 231 (73.813); Santa Cruz, 74 (57.587); Santiago del Estero, 264 (72.048); Tierra del Fuego, 45 (30.950); y Tucumán, 982 (178.375).
