“Estas cifras son los más altas desde que la app se relanzó en abril de 2020 y marca la fuerte consolidación que adquirió entre las preferencias de las y los bonaerenses”, aseguró Juan Cuattromo, presidente de Banco Provincia. El mes pasado, más de 444 mil personas usaron Cuenta DNI para comprar, un 24% por encima de las que consumieron en junio.
Este fuerte crecimiento fue el resultado de una campaña especial de beneficios que Banco Provincia puso en marcha en julio junto con el Ministerio de Hacienda provincial, que destinó un fondeo de mil millones de pesos para poder cubrir los ahorros del 30% en comercios de barrio, 20% en supermercados y 50% en garrafas. Debido al éxito, la campaña continúa durante todo agosto e incluye descuentos en combustibles y al efectuar el pago de impuestos y servicios.
“En línea con la idea de Axel Kicillof, trabajamos para tener un Estado presente, que aprovecha las herramientas tecnológicas para poder impulsar las ventas y ampliar la capacidad de compra de las familias”, indicó Cuattromo. Y señaló: “Gracias a estas medidas de apoyo no sólo les rinde más el dinero a las y los bonaerenses sino que se benefician también unos 28 mil comercios de barrio de toda la Provincia, porque nuestra app les acredita los fondos al instante”.
App Cuenta DNI
Cuenta DNI tiene 3,4 millones de personas usuarias. Es gratuita y permite que operen con la entidad sin costo alguno, ya que las operaciones no tienen cargos. Además, tampoco se cobra comisión por efectuar retiros de dinero a través de la red de cajeros de la entidad.
El 82% la usa a diario, sobre todo dentro del segmento joven: el 56% tiene entre 18 y 35 años. Entre las funcionalidades más demandadas se encuentran las compras, transferencias, los pagos, y las recargas de celulares y tarjetas de transporte.
Cuenta DNI es una de las billeteras más convenientes a la hora de vender. Además de contar con la acreditación inmediata de los pagos, las operaciones mediante Clave DNI o QR generan una comisión para las y los vendedores que ronda entre el 0,6 y el 0,8%, la más baja del mercado. (DIB) ACR
