El Gobierno nacional decidió aumentar en $8.000 millones el subsidio al transporte automotor interior, detalló ayer el subsecretario de Transporte Automotor de la Nación, Marcos Farina.
“Se dispuso un aumento de $8.000 millones, que se suman al presupuestado de $20.000 millones”, señaló Farina en declaraciones a Télam Radio.
El monto es otorgado para “ayudar a las provincias para que el transporte siga funcionando”, dijo Farina, y recordó que las provincias “se comprometieron a llevar adelante la sustentabilidad de su transporte público de pasajeros junto a los municipios” a partir de la firma del Pacto Fiscal en 2018.
Del monto originalmente presupuestado de $20.000 millones, ya se habían repartido $9.000 millones, según el funcionario.
Respecto del transporte de larga distancia, el secretario afirmó que el Gobierno aportará de aquí a fin de año $600 millones por mes, al considerar que es “el sistema que más ha sido perjudicado por esta pandemia”.
“Hoy está funcionando a un 12%, 14%, y los ayudaremos para que, por lo menos, puedan pagar los sueldos”, destacó Farina, quien aclaró que esta ayuda complementará al Repro otorgado a estas empresas de transporte.
