“Hoy esa situación cambió. Veo un radicalismo de pie, con ganas de liderar la coalición, de convocar al PRO, al socialismo, al GEN, de reconstruir la democracia”, enfatizó.
Consultado sobre si veía al jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, como presidenciable, dijo que desconoce la “visión de país que ofrece”, y agregó: “Si me tengo que basar en lo que hizo el PRO en el gobierno de Cambiemos, creo que dieron muchos planes sociales, pero sin salida laboral ?real”.
Manes liderará una lista que cuenta con el respaldo de la estructura territorial del radicalismo, sumado al aporte de los peronistas disidentes Emilio Monzó y Joaquín de la Torre) y el GEN de Margarita Stolbizer, quien irá cuarta en la nómina.
“Estoy convencido de que la oposición necesita no ser solo ‘anti’. Quiero ganarle al kirchnerismo con un salto cualitativo de la oposición. Y eso lo tiene que hacer un partido centenario, como la UCR, que convoque a todos”, aseveró.
