Un total de 2.117.700 dosis de vacunas contra el Covid-19 arribaron hoy al Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza, reflejando así un acumulado de 38.409.430 millones de dosis desde que se inició a fines del año pasado el Plan Estratégico de Vacunación en todo el territorio nacional.
“Estamos superando hoy las 38 millones de dosis, y con los tres vuelos que llegan esta semana Argentina va a llegar a las 40 millones de dosis en territorio argentino para distribuirse, aplicarse y seguir iniciando y completando esquemas de vacunación”, informó la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, quien retornó al país desde el Reino Unido.
En su regreso, la funcionaria realizó una en Madrid donde abordó el vuelo AR1087 de Aerolíneas Argentinas proveniente de Pekín, que aterrizó en Ezeiza a las 20:13.
Dicho vuelo trajo 768.000 dosis de Sinopharm, mientras que previamente, a las 19:00, aterrizó un Boeing 767-300 de Lan Cargo procedente de la ciudad estadounidense de Miami, con 1.349.700 dosis de AstraZeneca, cuyo componente activo se produce en el país.
Hasta el momento arribaron al país 38.409.430 vacunas, de las cuales 11.868.830 corresponden a Sputnik V, (9.375.670 del componente 1 y 2.493.160 del componente 2); 11.376.000 a Sinopharm; 9.140.600 a las de AstraZeneca y Oxford cuyo principio activo se produjo en la Argentina; 3.500.000 a Moderna; 1.944.000 a AstraZeneca por el mecanismo COVAX de la OMS y 580.000 a AstraZeneca-Covishield.
De acuerdo al Monitor Público de Vacunación, hasta este lunes se habían distribuido en el país 31.178.944 dosis de vacunas, de las cuales ya se habían aplicardo 27.754.906.
De ese total, hay 22.279.841 personas inoculadas con la primera dosis, y 5.475.065 cuentan con el esquema completo de inmunización.
