Mañana a las 10:00 en la sede de la Unión del Comercio la Industria y la Producción (UCIP), ubicada en avenida Luro 3030, se firmará un acuerdo para las “buenas prácticas contra la discriminación”.
Del encuentro participarán autoridades del Instituto Nacional contra la Discriminación, la xenofobia y el Racismo en Mar del Plata, la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, la Defensoría del Pueblo del Municipio de General Pueyrredon, la UCIPA, la Unión Industrial Marplatense, la Confederación General del Trabajo, la Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina de los Trabajadores y la Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina Autónoma.
Los puntos centrales del acuerdo a firmar son promovemos el cumplimiento de la ley N° 23.592 contra los actos discriminatorios en general, bregar por “el respeto y trato igualitario de las personas, considerando que ningún aspecto o cualidad relativa a la particularidad de una persona o grupo social”.
También se busca “evitar la estigmatización de las personas por su aspecto físico. Erradicar toda alusión a la estandarización de los cuerpos así como la difusión y la reproducción de estereotipos sobre las personas con cuerpos no hegemónicos”.
Otro de los puntos indica la promoción de la “identificación, el reconocimiento y la eliminación de la marginación, que incluye también el maltrato, el trato desigual y la representación negativa de los cuerpos no hegemónicos”.
Y se indicó que se denunciará “la negación de derechos” y “procuraremos las acciones tendientes para generar medidas reparatorias cuando esto haya sucedido”. Además se explicó que entre las acciones a realizar, una de ellas es “comunicar las formas y vías para denunciar las situaciones de discriminación, especialmente las de INADI”.
