El bloque de concejales del Frente de Todos elevó un proyecto de comunicación solicitando al Gobierno municipal que realice las acciones necesarias para la demarcación, mejoramiento y mantenimiento de la señalización de las sendas peatonales ubicadas en la avenida Independencia entre avenida Colón y avenida Luro.
Además, el pedido insta al Departamento Ejecutivo a que lleve adelante un relevamiento del estado de los pasos peatonales que se encuentran en las principales arterias de la ciudad.
El concejal autor del proyecto, Marcos Gutiérrez, resaltó “la importancia de tener en condiciones las sendas peatonales para reforzar la seguridad vial de los ciudadanos que transiten por allí”.
Por otra parte, el presidente del bloque del Frente de Todos apuntó contra el Gobierno local: “El mejoramiento y mantenimiento de los pasos peatonales es responsabilidad del Ejecutivo y, hasta el momento, no realizaron las acciones correspondientes para solucionar la problemática”.
“Esta dificultad se puede observar en las intersecciones de avenidas y calles con mayor circulación de personas de Mar del Plata”, señaló Gutiérrez.
