Éste 24 de marzo de 2021 se conmemora el 45º Aniversario de la ruptura del orden institucional y quiebre del Estado de Derecho, por el golpe militar del 24 de marzo de 1976, cuyas secuelas sin lugar a dudas continúan proyectándose hasta nuestra actualidad.
Es por ello, que año tras año nuestro Colegio de Abogados rinde homenaje a todas las personas que resultaron víctimas de esa funesta etapa de nuestra historia y, muy especialmente, a los/as colegas que fueron perseguidos, secuestrados, torturados, asesinados y/o desparecidos, a quienes siempre tendremos en nuestra MEMORIA, recuerdo que nos hará reflexionar sobre lo acontecido y tener presente ése pasado para no vuelva a ocurrir JAMÁS.
Como hombres y mujeres del derecho tenemos el pleno convencimiento de que el orden jurídico y el respeto por los derechos humanos son estructurales en los cimientos de una Nación y sin ellos, no sería posible llevar adelante una vida en democracia.
Asimismo, como ciudadanos y ciudadanas, desde el lugar que nos toque ocupar, debemos continuar trabajando día a día para poder alcanzar la sociedad que todos deseamos, en donde la justicia, el desarrollo y la paz se erigen como pilares fundamentales, resultando para ello imprescindible tener siempre presente las enseñanzas que el pasado nos ha legado.
