El intendente Guillermo Montenegro dispuso finalmente el aumento del boleto del servicio de transporte de pasajeros. Será en dos partes: desde el 21 de junio pasará a costar $51,80 y desde el 30 de septiembre se irá a $59,90.
Luego que el Concejo Deliberante delegara en el intendente la decisión sobre la actualización de la tarifa de transporte urbano de pasajeros, el jefe comunal y su Gabinete realizaron una “exhaustiva evaluación con la intención de impactar lo menos posible en el bolsillo de los marplatenses, aunque siguiendo la inflación”, manifestó el secretario de Gobierno, Santiago Bonifatti.
Se recuerda que el estudio de costos de la Cámara Marplatense de Empresas de Transporte Automotor de Pasajeros (CAMETAP) indicaba que la actualización de la tarifa debía ser $96,06. Lo solicitado representa el 173% en relación al costo actual.
En tanto, el estudio de costos realizado por Movilidad Urbana, concluyó que el costo de la tarifa técnica asciende a $93,69. A pesar de ello se dispuso que la primera actualización ascienda a $51,80.
Los estudios se realizan a partir de la cantidad de pasajeros que utilizan el servicio porque los costos se dividen por ese número de usuarios promedio. Al respecto, en el decreto se detalla que, en el último año, debido a la pandemia, se redujo en un 95% como pico máximo en marzo de 2020 la circulación de pasajeros, y en un 50% en el momento de mayor circulación, en febrero de este año, siendo el promedio de la caída del 70%.
También se menciona que los subsidios nacionales y provinciales son escasos principalmente en comparación con lo que se otorga al conurbano bonaerense, y es en ese marco que el Municipio realiza gestiones para obtenerlos, e incluyó un encuentro virtual que el intendente mantuvo con sus pares de Córdoba y Rosario quienes como otras ciudades están siendo “perjudicadas” de la misma manera.
En este punto se destacó que mientras el AMBA cuenta con 18.000 unidades en servicio y 47.000 trabajadores, percibe $16 mil millones en subsidios nacionales mensuales, el interior del país, con 13.000 unidades y 33.000 trabajadores, percibe únicamente $1500 millones por mes.
Por otra parte, otro decreto dispone la continuidad de la actual concesión que vence el próximo 19 de junio “con el objetivo primordial de garantizar el servicio a los vecinos”.
En ese sentido, en el decreto se especifica que en diciembre del año pasado se presentó un pliego en el HCD del Sistema Integrado de Transporte Urbano que incluyó dos instancias participativas con debates durante cuatro meses y modificaciones, pero, sin embargo, no prosperó en las comisiones, lo que terminó con una polémica en el bloque del oficialista.
