Un caso de negligencia se produjo en las últimas horas en una clínica marplatense, cuando a una familia le entregaron por error el cadáver de una mujer que no era su pariente y recién se dieron cuenta de la situación cuando realizaban el velatorio.
El hecho fue denunciado por los familiares de Estela Benito, de 84 años, y las autoridades del hospital dijeron que se trató de “un error administrativo involuntario” que la dio por muerta cuando en realidad estaba viva.
La nuera de Benito, Miriam Salinas, dijo a los medios: “La velamos a cajón abierto y cuando fui a dejarle las flores en el ataúd, me di cuenta que no era mi suegra”.
“Parecía una escena de una película, saqué las flores y empecé a decir ‘no es, no es’. De inmediato llamamos al hospital y como nadie nos respondía, nos fuimos del velorio hasta el hospital y una médica nos dijo que había habido un error”, señaló.
El caso ocurrió en el ex Hospital Español, actualmente llamado “Clínica Mar del Plata”, ubicado en San Luis al 2500.
Desde el nosocomio, mediante un breve comunicado, argumentaron que “el personal de sanidad está agotado” por la pandemia que se vive desde marzo del 2020.
“Reiteramos nuestras condolencias y nuevamente nos ponemos a disposición por los inconvenientes generados”, finalizaron.
Frente a la situación y el reclamo de los familiares de Estela Benito, la misma será trasladada en las próximas horas al Hospital Houssay.
