El Ministerio de Salud de la Nación confirmó hoy 11.561 nuevos casos de coronavirus en el país, además de 354 muertes por la pandemia en las últimas 24 horas.
Con estas cifras, ascendía a 4.639.098 la cantidad de casos confirmados acumulados de Covid-19 y a 98.501 los fallecidos.
En tanto, 5.427 personas contagiadas de Covid-19 se encontraban internadas en terapia intensiva: la ocupación total para toda patología de camas del servicio en centros de saludo estatales y privados era del 63,1 por ciento en el país y del 60,9 en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA).
Según la información difundida por la cartera sanitaria, por el momento se recuperaron del coronavirus 4.264.937 pacientes, en tanto que otros 275.660 continuaban con la enfermedad en curso.
Las jurisdicciones con más contagios diarios son la provincia de Buenos Aires (3.298 y 1.893.866 acumulados), Córdoba (1.196 y 431.168), Santa Fe (1.090 y 421.459), CABA (814 y 474.418), Santiago del Estero (548 y 65.123), Formosa (494 y 49.858), Chaco (484 y 82.625), Corrientes (411 y 70.551), Salta (341 y 66.300), Mendoza (310 y 144.907), Jujuy (304 y 38.658), Tucumán (252 y 166.328), San Juan (246 y 54.361) y San Luis (240 y 69.212).
Las otras provincias también consignaron nuevos casos: Entre Ríos (237 y 117.000 acumulados), La Rioja (235 y 24.081), Catamarca (211 y 37.067), La Pampa (207 y 55.704), Río Negro (181 y 86.386), Misiones (160 y 27.402), Neuquén (151 y 103.405), Chubut (91 y 72.561), Santa Cruz (31 y 56.446), Tierra del Fuego (29 y 30.212).
De los 354 decesos que se produjeron en las últimas 24 horas, 191 correspondían a hombres: 98 de la provincia de Buenos Aires, 19 de Mendoza, 13 de Catamarca, 13 de Neuquén, 12 de Entre Ríos, seis de Santiago del Estero, cinco de La Rioja, cuatro de CABA, cuatro de Córdoba, cuatro de Santa Fe, tres de Chaco, tres de Misiones, dos de Jujuy, dos de San Juan, uno de Formosa, uno de Salta y uno de San Luis.
También se informó la muerte de 157 mujeres por la pandemia: 91 de la provincia de Buenos Aires, diez de Mendoza, nueve de Neuquén, ocho de La Rioja, seis de Catamarca, seis de Córdoba, seis de Santa Fe, cuatro de Santiago del Estero, tres de CABA, tres de Chaco, tres de Jujuy, dos de Formosa, dos de Río Negro, una de Chubut, una de Entre Ríos, una de Salta y una de Santa Cruz.
En tanto, seis personas: una de ellas fallecida en la provincia de Buenos Aires, dos de Entre Ríos y tres de Mendoza, fueron informadas sin datos de sexo.
En la jornada se realizaron 69.982 testeos para coronavirus, con un 16,51 por ciento de positividad, mientras que hasta el momento se acumulaban 17.573.118 pruebas diagnósticas para esta enfermedad.
