El próximo martes 6 el Club Atlético Kimberley estará cumpliendo 100 años, por eso desde la comisión directiva y con el apoyo del municipio se llevará a cabo una caravana que partirá desde la Villa Deporiva (avenida Polonia y Vértiz) e irá hasta la sede social en Avenida Independencia 3030, donde se alentará por el club.
Esta será una de las tantas acciones que se desarrollarán hasta julio del 2022 y que tendrán como objetivo acercar al hincha, reconocer a personalidades destacadas para la institución y obras edilicias para mejorar las instalaciones.
Con las dificultades obvias para llevar a cabo cualquier festejo, la comisión directiva kimberleña empezó a trabajar hace varias semanas para poder llevar a cabo este evento. Entre las opciones que surgieron, la idea de la caravana terminó siendo la que primó por dos motivos: el primero, y fundamental, es que permite el cumplimiento del protocolo sanitario acorde en los tiempos que corren. El segundo, un poco más histórico, recordará los antiguos recorridos primaverales y de campeonato que se llevaban a cabo hasta la década del 70.
En relación al evento en sí, el club ha informado que el recorrido iniciará en la Villa Deportiva y se dirigirá hasta la sede social donde se hará un brindis por lo que cada persona que asista deberá llevar su propio vaso y bebida además de tapabocas e indumentaria representativa de Kimberley.
Desde la Comisión Directiva también se informó que se harán distintas acciones tal como vienen trabajando desde su asunción. Entre ellas habrá inauguraciones de nuevas obras con nombres de colaboradores históricos, reconocimientos para socios y deportistas y más.
Además de todo lo planificado, Kimberley ha puesto en marcha su rol social con la colecta de alimentos no perecederos, ropa y abrigos que serán donados al comedor “La esperanza” ubicado en Magnasco 2538. Todos los elementos se podrán dejar en el ingreso al club donde se armó un espacio dedicado a recibir los mismos.
