La presencia del zaguero central Cristian Romero quedó casi descartada tras el entrenamiento que realizó este jueves el seleccionado argentino en el predio de AFA, en Ezeiza, donde por contrapartida se reafirmó la vuelta a la titularidad del volante Leandro Paredes para enfrentar a Ecuador, el próximo sábado desde las 22, en el estadio Olímpico, de Goiania, por los cuartos de final de la Copa América de Brasil.
El plantel dirigido por Lionel Scaloni desarrolló este jueves su penúltima práctica en suelo argentino antes de trasladarse hacia Brasil, desde donde no regresará hasta la noche del sábado 10 de julio, si es que logra alcanzar la final del certamen.
Es que desde las 10 de mañana desarrollará el último entrenamiento antes de la conferencia de prensa virtual que ofrecerá Scaloni y el posterior viaje que emprenderá a las 16 rumbo a Goiania.
Esa última prueba será definitoria para cerrar el equipo titular que enfrentará a los dirigidos por Gustavo Alfaro, pero este jueves , pese a que no hubo una práctica formal de fútbol sino ejercicios tácticos por la tarde, el panorama quedó despejado en un 80 por ciento en cuanto a los 11 titulares que saltarán al campo de juego.
Y de ese 20 por ciento de dudas que tiene Scaloni la mayor parte está en la defensa, ya que a la probable ausencia de “Cuti” Romero se suma ese hasta ahora puntual “uno y uno” que afrontan de un partido a otro Marcos Acuña y Nicolás Tagliafico.
Mientras que el otro lugar en disputa está en la mitad de la cancha, entre Guido Rodríguez y Giovani Lo Celso, obviamente de características muy diferentes que obligarán a cambiar el sentido táctico en ese sector de la cancha dependiendo de si juega uno u otro.
Todo esto fue lo que se trabajó durante el entrenamiento vespertino de este jueves, que sirvió también para ratificar los retornos del arquero Emiliano Martínez, Nahuel Molina y Lautaro Martínez a la titularidad..
