En total, según detalló a LA NACION el secretario de Medios y Comunicación Pública, Francisco Meritello, el Gobierno pagó ese dinero para la realización de los cuatro momentos artísticos: el acto que protagonizó la cantante lírica Susana Moncayo. Después llegó el turno de Patricia Sosa y Lito Vitale, que le pusieron voz y música al tema “Nos veremos otra vez”, de Serú Girán.
La tercera etapa estuvo a cargo de Nadia Szachniuk, quien interpretó el tema “Zamba para no morir”, acompañada por el guitarrista Juan Falú. Para cierre, tras las palabras del presidente Alberto Fernández, sonó una de las obras icónicas de Astor Piazzolla, Adiós Nonino. Como presentadora se contrató a la actriz Laura Nov
“La parte artística costó alrededor de 500 mil pesos”, sostuvo Meritello en diálogo con Radio con Vos. El funcionario también contó que se armó un equipo de trabajo “muy grande” para “pensar” y realizar el homenaje en el que se inspiraron en los actos que protagonizaron antes la canciller alemana, Angela Merkel, y el presidente de Estados Unidos, Joe Biden.
Entre otros participaron el ministro de Cultura, Tristán Bauer; el secretario de Comunicación y Prensa, Juan Pablo Biondi; el subsecretario de Comunicación, Marcelo Martin; y los asesores presidenciales Alejandro Grimson y Ricardo Forster.
La controversia escaló en las redes sociales tras la publicación de que Novoa había cobrado unos 450.000 pesos por su participación. Eso provocó una rápida desmentida de la actriz, quien contó que percibió unos 60.000 pesos a través de la Asociación Argentina de Actores.
“Lamentablemente me veo en la situación de aclarar que la cifra que están diciendo que cobré por el mismo es absurda y totalmente alejada de la realidad. Me duele que estén diciendo cosas que no son verdad, pero sobre todo me duele que algunas personas mientan sobre cuestiones tan sensibles que deberían unirnos a todes”, escribió la artista en redes sociales.
Y agregó: “Sé que es poco, pero para mí es un honor que piensen en mí y que este sea mi primer paso como posible conductora”.
La controversia generó fastidió en la Casa Rosada. “Uno de los grandes problemas que tenemos es que todo el tiempo debemos salir a desmentir lo que se dice”, se quejó Meritello. “Fue un llamado a la unidad. Creíamos que teníamos que hacer un homenaje a las víctimas de la pandemia. Creemos que no debería ser algo que traiga controversia, son los muertos de todos los argentinos”, aseguró.
Según las últimas cifras oficiales, el número de fallecidos por coronavirus en la Argentina desde el inicio de la pandemia, en marzo de 2020, se elevó a 92.317, tras reportarse ayer otras 338 muertes. En ese escenario, Alberto Fernández encabezó una ceremonia en memoria de los muertos por Covid-19 en todo el país en el CCK.
“Lo mejor que podemos hacer como sociedad es que tanto pesar se vuelva fuerza e impulso para construir el futuro de nuestro país. Con diversidad y sin divisiones irreconciliables, cuidemos a la Argentina, cuidémonos entre todos y todas”, pidió el primer mandatario, quien sostuvo: “Juntos y juntas derrotaremos a la pandemia. Recorramos unidos ese camino: cuidar, recuperar, reconstruir. Así podremos mirar el futuro con memoria y con esperanza”.
El Presidente, que estuvo acompañado por la primera dama, Fabiola Yáñez, encendió una de las 24 velas que se prendieron durante el acto en representación de los fallecidos en cada una de las provincias y en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
