El Municipio colocó una cámara de seguridad, además de llevar a cabo recambios de luminarias, limpieza de microbasurales y poda de árboles en el barrio Etchepare.
La cámara (ubicada en Constitución y 214) está conectada al Centro de Operaciones y Monitoreo (COM) para poder vigilar la zona las 24 horas. El punto elegido tiene un motivo, puesto que allí hay una parada de colectivos y una escuela a unas cuadras.
Los vecinos pidieron especialmente esta instalación en una reunión con el Jefe Comunal hace unas semanas, quien volvió al barrio a conversar con ellos al momento de la conexión.
Además de la cámara, la seguridad en la zona se reforzó con la poda de árboles que obstruía la iluminación del barrio y con el recambio de algunas luminarias, lo que incrementó la visibilidad en las calles.
Las tareas fueron realizadas a través del EMSUR y el EMVIAL y la Secretaría de Seguridad local.
