El presidente Alberto Fernández contrajo coronavirus y tiene síntomas leves, aunque remarcó que se encuentra “físicamente bien”.
Por el contagio, la reunión que iba a mantener este sábado con el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y el gobernador bonaerense, Axel Kicillof, para analizar la situación epidemiológica del AMBA fue suspendida.
El mandatario sintió dolor de cabeza y fiebre en la tarde del viernes y tras realizarse un test confirmó que se había contagiado COVID-19, contó en su cuenta de Twitter.
“Quería contarles que al terminar el día de hoy, luego de presentar un registro de fiebre de 37,3 y un leve dolor de cabeza, me realice un test de antígeno cuyo resultado fue positivo”, escribió el jefe de Estado.
Y añadió: “Si bien estamos a la espera de la confirmación a través del test PCR, ya me encuentro aislado, cumpliendo el protocolo vigente y siguiendo las indicaciones de mi médico personal”.
Para llevar tranquilidad a la Nación, el Presidente subrayó que se encuentra “físicamente bien”, pese al contagio.
“Para información de todos y todas me encuentro físicamente bien y, aunque hubiera querido terminar el día de mi cumpleaños sin esta noticia, también me encuentro bien de ánimo. Agradezco desde el alma las muchas muestras de afecto que hoy me han brindado recordando mi nacimiento”, lamentó.
Asimismo, Alberto Fernández subrayó que ya puso en conocimiento de todos los colaboradores y personas con las que estuvo en contacto, para que cumplan con el aislamiento preventivo.
“He contactado a las personas con las que estuve reunido en las últimas 48 horas para evaluar si constituyen un contacto estrecho para que hagan el aislamiento”, agregó.
Y concluyó: “Debemos estar muy atentos. Les pido a todos y todas que se preserven siguiendo las recomendaciones vigentes. Es evidente que la pandemia no pasó y debemos seguir cuidándonos”.
Alberto Fernández se había aplicado la primera dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V el pasado 21 de enero en el Hospital Posadas. Con 62 años, el Presidente integra el grupo de riesgo ante el coronavirus.
La confirmación de su contagio se produjo en el mismo día en que cumplió años y horas antes de la reunión prevista para este sábado en la Quinta de Olivos con el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y a la que se iba a sumar de manera virtual el gobernador bonaerense, Axel Kicillof, para analizar la situación epidemiológica del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) ante la escalada de casos de coronavirus de las últimas semanas.
Según trascendió, ni siquiera se llevará a cabo por videoconferencia y se postergó, sin fecha.
