El presidente de UCIP, Blas Taladrid, explicó que “si bien este aumento se debe contextualizar respecto a que la comparativa se llevó a cabo con marzo del 2020, habiendo tenido en ese momento solamente 19 días de trabajo habilitado ya que el día 20 de ese mes comenzó a regir el Decreto establecido por el Gobierno y los comercios no esenciales debieron cerraron sus puertas, es importante que se empiece a revertir la tendencia de caída interanual”.
En el informe se indica que al momento de comparar las ventas de marzo del 2021 con el 2020, el 52,5% de los comercios dijeron que aumentaron; el 27,5% que bajaron; y el 20% que se mantuvieron igual.
De acuerdo a la proyección que tienen los encuestados sobre el próximo semestre el 47,5% dijo que el movimiento comercial se mantendrá sin cambios; el 27,5% que bajará; y un 25% considera que aumentará.
En relación a las posibilidades de pago y financiación el 85% de los comerciantes dijo que ofrece cuotas sin interés y, solo un 15% manifestó que no lo hace. En relación a este punto es que la forma de pago más elegida por los clientes es en un 35% con tarjeta de crédito o cuotas sin interés; el 30% con efectivo; el 25% con tarjeta de crédito o débito en un pago; y sólo el 10% con tarjeta de crédito y cuotas con interés.
El texto indica que como consecuencia de la caída de ventas debido a la situación de pandemia, el 32% de los entrevistados han manifestado haber contraído algún tipo de deuda durante estos meses mayormente con AFIP, ganancias, seguridad e higiene municipal, impuestos varios, mercaderías y alquileres atrasados.
El informe de ventas del mes de marzo 2020 marcó una caída de la facturación interanual con respecto al mismo mes del 2019 del 55,27% debido, principalmente, al cierre de los rubros no esenciales.
Por último, el presidente de UCIP manifestó que “algunos comerciantes consideraron que gracias al inicio de clases sí se pudo observar un pequeño aumento de movimiento comercial”.
