“Dictamos una norma en conjunto con el Secretario de Gobierno, determinando que, a partir de ahora, las horas extras son incumbencia de la Secretaría de Hacienda y de Gobierno”, manifestó respondiendo a la consulta de nuestro diario digital, el titular del área económica municipal, Contador Daniel Pérez.
Acto seguido precisó que “se llevó a cabo una resolución en la cual estamos fijando, para cada trabajador municipal, un tope de 70 horas extras por mes, con excepción de aquellos que revisten en los centros de Salud y el Centro de Operaciones y Monitoreo”.
El funcionario fundamentó lo resuelto en el hecho de que “hemos visto que en algunos casos se cometían excesos, que determinaban que había personal que realizaba horas extras en más de una secretaría y eso provocaba que hubiera secretarios que perdían el control de las horas extras. En razón de que autorizan las horas extras de sus secretarías, pero no las que otorgan los colegas de las otras secretarías. Y así fue como detectamos casos de empleados municipales, que cobraban hasta $ 20 mil en concepto de horas extras.”
Asimismo, aclaró que “cómo hay mucho personal que presta servicio en distintas dependencias, los controles se relajaban y se cometían excesos”.
Finalmente, con respecto a las diversas idas y vueltas, que tuvieron lugar, la semana pasada, con el Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales ante el pago de horas extras y productividad, el Contador Pérez aseguró que “lo que ocurrió la semana pasada fue solamente una demora en el pago para poder revisar cerca de 30 casos”.
